Tizzie

Am. Ch. Clearbrook Compo's She's A Ten

Tizzie came to us at nine weeks of age from Clearbrook Havanese.  Her show career started on the day after her six month birthday with a BOS to Spirit, who had won BOS at Westminster the prior February.  This was also my first time in the ring and Tizzie, the consummate show girl, made showing her very easy for me!  A week later, she won her first point and went on to earn her championship before the age of one year.  She completed her show career with a Best of Breed over specials the day after she earned her championship.  She was expertly presented by Harry Bennett for most of her show career. 

Tizzie loves to show and adores attention.  She is sweet, flashy, loving, very ladylike and has excellent structure and proportion - - everything a Havanese should be!

Tizzie's famous!  Her picture (see photo at the top left) was used to exemplify the Havanese breed in the recently updated The Dog Breed Bible reference book published in 2007 by Barron's Educational Series (see page 114 in the book!).

Tipper

Tipper bounded into our lives through the generosity of Barb Frazier of Braz Havanese.  Under Harry Bennett's tutelage, Tipper was shown for a couple of months, winning Best Puppy twice, her class consistently and a few points toward her championship, but she decided she would rather be home with us.  At some point in the future, she will go back into the ring to complete her championship.

Tipper has excellent structure, proportion and movement.  She is the ultimate tomboy and would rather jump into a pile of Autumn leaves than be groomed for the ring.  

Tipper is extremely intelligent, agile, trusting, willing to please, has a great sense of humor and reminds us of a character out of a Disney movie.  She has been called a "show off" more than once, demonstrating her huge vocabulary, ability to distinguish between colors and shapes of toys!
